Sending Files from Launca Intraoral Scanner to the Laboratory

 

Step 1: Add a new lab information in Settings

Open the Launca software, click on the settings button. At the bottom you will see an option called "laboratory information". Click on it and when you go in, find the blue "new laboratory" option in the upper right corner of the page. Click on it to create a new laboratory.

 

Step 2: Enter important information

Once you enter the “New laboratory” option, continue filling in the basic information including: Laboratory name、Contact information、Email address、Phone number and Address.Remember to select the order submission format (PLY/STL/OBJ).

 

Step 3: Capture Digital Impact

Be sure to take a high-quality digital impression using your intraoral scanner before sending any files to the laboratory. Position the scanner correctly in the patient's mouth and follow the manufacturer's instructions to accurately capture the desired area. Pay close attention to any areas of concern or details that may require special attention during the scanning process. do it.

 

Step 4: Verify and Review Scan

Once the digital impression is taken, take some time to verify its accuracy and completeness. Use the scanner's software to examine the scan from different angles and make sure all necessary details are clearly captured.

 

Step 5: Send the File

After verifying the scan, it is time to transfer the digital file from the intraoral scanner. Launca IOS offers a variety of file formats for compatibility with different CAD/CAM systems used by dental laboratories. Click the send button to select a laboratory and the appropriate file format.

 

Step 6: Choose additional transfer methods

When you select the file, you will see a QR code appear in the middle of the screen. The purpose of this QR code is to give you additional options. In addition to emailing files, you can view them by scanning the QR code on your mobile device or share them with other devices or users to view the link.

 

Step 7: Check file transfer status

Please click on the WiFi icon located in the upper right corner of the screen. This allows you to view the status and details of the file transfer. Make sure the files were sent successfully. If the transfer fails, please double-check the file format and email address are correct.
